  • Hearing Evaluations

A hearing evaluation is a measurement of hearing sensitivity. This testing evaluates and measures the lowest level you can hear certain pitches across the major speech sound spectrum. This test can be administered to adults as well as children ages 6 months and up.

  • Tinnitus Evaluations

Tinnitus is a phenomenon where an individual perceives sounds in their ears. The sounds can vary person to person. Some may hear ringing and other may notice crickets or cicadas. Tinnitus evaluations measure different qualities of a person’s subjective tinnitus, such as pitch and loudness.

  • Auditory Processing Evaluations

Auditory processing disorder is auditory impairment that impacts aspects of hearing such as processing speech in noise, localizing sounds, and distinguishing sounds from one another. This testing is administered in children and adults who have normal hearing sensitivity, but seemingly struggle with their hearing.

  • Hearing Technology

Hearing devices have come a long way in the last two decades. The devices of today are more effective, more efficient, more comfortable, and more discrete than ever before. Our clinic offers a wide range of hearing devices in order to accommodate all hearing needs and budgets. Check out the Hearing Tech page to browse through some of the devices and manufacturers we work with.

  • Verification Measurements

Verification measurements are the industry gold standard for verifying hearing aids and the amplification they are providing wearers. We utilize a two-step verification process: 1. Electroacoustic Analysis - We test various output levels of each hearing aid prior to fitting it on a patient, verifying the absolute function of the devices, 2. Real-Ear Measurements - We use REM to program each hearing aid, verifying that the device is amplifying sounds to optimal hearing levels.

  • Custom In-ear Products

Ears are all different. Many times one-size-fits-all just doesn’t cut it, especially for prolonged comfortable use. Custom ear products are great way to use your in-ear devices efficiently and comfortably. We offer a wide range of custom ear products such as earplugs, swim plugs, musician’s plugs, hunter’s ears, in-ear monitors, custom earbud attachments for air pods or other earphones, and more.

  • Ear Cleaning

Many people experience acute or chronic over-production of ear wax. Q-tips can cause wax impaction or injury and are not recommended for ear cleaning. Our office is equipped to remove even the most stubborn of ear wax. From using manual instruments, mechanical irrigation, or suction, we love to clean all ears!

  • Cochlear Implants

Cochlear implants treat severe to profound hearing losses in individuals who do not benefit from the use of hearing aids. Cochlear implants have two primary components: an internal device and an exterior processor. Cochlear implants are not appropriate for every hearing loss. A cochlear implant evaluation helps determine whether a person is a good candidate for this hearing treatment.

  • Bone Anchored Hearing Systems

Bone anchored hearing systems are a common treatment option for chronic conductive hearing losses. Bone anchored hearing systems use the mechanical energy of acoustic noise to stimulate the inner ear, bypassing the element of the auditory system that is impaired.

  • Industrial Hearing Conservation

Prevention of hearing loss is a primary focus of audiologists. It is important to routinely assess and monitor hearing levels in workers that experience high levels of noise on a routine basis. Hearing conservation includes annual hearing evaluations, annual hearing and noise protection training, and follow-up for identified hearing shifts. Other services may include hearing protection fitting and custom hearing protection.

  • Hearing Aid Repair and Servicing

Like all durable mechanical and electronic devices, hearing aids need regular maintenance and servicing. Basic problems with hearing aids can be as simple as parts being clogged with wax to circuit shorts in wires. Keeping up with routine maintenance can prevent hearing aids from needing to be sent in for repair.

  • Educational Audiology and Contract Services

Children with hearing loss in the school setting need support from professionals such as speech language pathologists and audiologists. This support team ensures that students get access to resources they need for success.

Our clinic also offers contract audiology services on a case-by-case basis.
